About

We are a pioneering Privacy Enhancing Technology company protecting Data in Use to enable secure and private data usage, collaboration, monetization, and Secure AI. Our software solutions change the paradigm of how and where organizations can leverage data to unlock value.

Defining the transformative category of Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs), our award-winning ZeroReveal® solutions protect the content of the search, analytic, or AI/ML model while it's being used or processed. Customers can extract insights, cross-match, search, analyze, and leverage AI across boundaries and silos at scale without exposing their interests and intent or compromising the security or ownership of the underlying data. A World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer, Gartner Cool Vendor, and the first NIAP Common Criteria and CSfC-certified Data in Use security company, Enveil is deployed and operational today, revolutionizing data usage in the global marketplace.

Founded in 2016 by U.S. Intelligence Community alumni with backgrounds in mathematics, algorithmics, and machine learning, Enveil is engineering trust to empower organizations to successfully navigate the global digital economy. Our groundbreaking use of homomorphic encryption and secure multiparty computation, key pillars of the Privacy Enhancing Technologies category, allows data to be leveraged at scale and in-place, with processing times that ensure minimal impact on user experience.

The market for these business-enabling capabilities has never been greater: Gartner analysts predict that “by 2025, 60% of large organizations will use privacy-enhancing computation techniques to protect privacy in untrusted environments or for analytics purposes” (Gartner “Innovation Insight for Federated Machine Learning,” March 2022). Enveil is already delivering on this promise. These capabilities are delivering operational efficiencies and unprecedented speed to insight for customers today. Our innovative COTS solutions allow users to stop moving data and start using it — securely.

By facilitating a decentralized, in-place approach to secure data usage, we allow participating entities to retain granular control and ownership of their sensitive assets. We remove the need to move or pool sensitive assets, enabling organizations to securely and privately search and leverage third-party, PAI, and commercial data without increasing risk. Enveil’s core technology has been implemented at scale in the most sensitive of environments, where analysts work under the ‘Zero Trust’ assumption that the system has already been compromised.

Headquartered in the Washington, D.C. metro area, our world-class team is harnessing the power of Privacy Enhancing Technologies to make entirely new things possible for use cases across verticals including financial services, healthcare, and the public sector.
